This cardiac education and support group is available for individuals and their family members. HeartLink offers continual information, education and support on cardiac disease. HeartLink meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Lake Huron Medical Center.

Cardiac Scoring

Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death among American adults. Approximately 50 percent of individuals often exhibit no symptoms and feel healthy just prior to a heart attack. To help you understand your risk for heart attack, Lake Huron Medical Center offers Cardiac Scoring. Cardiac Scoring accurately measures the amount of calcified plaque in the arteries - providing you with the information necessary to develop a preventative care plan with your physician.

Lake Huron Medical Center offers access to Cardiac Scoring Services through local radiologists. This fee-for-service program utilizes advanced diagnostic capabilities to provide a noninvasive method to evaluate the potential for cardiac diseases, especially for those at high-risk.
