Lake Huron Foundation proudly hosts the 21st Annual Pink Ribbon Ladies' Day golf outing on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Solitude Links Golf Club. Through the Pink Ribbon fund, Lake Huron Foundation remains committed to saving the lives of women in our community by encouraging women to take advantage of early detection and screening procedures when it comes to breast cancer. Funds raised from this event are used to provide advanced breast cancer screening and treatment for women in the community who lack health insurance and the financial resources to pay for their care.

Screening exams are instrumental in finding breast cancer before it begins to cause symptoms. Early detection, many times, allows us to find cancer while it is still confined to the breast and most treatable. Early detection saves lives. The Pink Ribbon Fund and Pink Ribbon Ladies’ Day extends early detection services and funding to countless women in our area providing the opportunity for all women in our community to benefit.

The event kicks off with a continental breakfast at 7:30am and an 8:30am shotgun start. Those attending Pink Ribbon Ladies’ Day have the opportunity to spend the morning golfing with like-minded women while experiencing beneficial health exhibits, vendor shopping and much more. Golfers are invited to participate in our Team Spirit cart decorating competition. Ultimately, participation in the event extends far beyond a June day on the golf course; you’re helping save the lives of the most vulnerable women in our community.

If you would like more information on the available event sponsorships or to register for this event please contact the Lake Huron Foundation representative at (810) 216-1675 or at Registration deadline is June 10, 2016.
