Inpatient Rehabilitation
Lake Huron Medical Center recognizes that quite often a patient requires
additional care after surgery, an illness or an injury. Any person who
has experienced a decline in function and/or ability to perform activities
of daily living and has the potential for improvement is a candidate for
the acute in-patient rehabilitation center program. Lake Huron Medical
Center's 10-bed acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is located on
the hospital's second floor tower.
We provide an extensive array of rehabilitation services including:
- Amputation Rehabilitation
- Arthritis Rehabilitation
- Neurological Rehabilitation
- Stroke Rehabilitation
Our team of specialists is dedicated to helping patients gain as much independence
as possible to their prior level of functioning and independence. Patients
enrolled in this program recieve individualized therapy for three (3)
hours per day, five (5) day per week from our team of experts including:
- Certified nurses and support personnel
- Physical and occupational therapists
- Physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians
- Social worker
- Speech and language pathologists
