professionals. Our cardiac care specialists offer state-of-the-art care,
from diagnosis and emergency intervention to the latest treatments, preventative
education and rehabilitation, because minutes always matter.
Electrocardiograms (EKG), multi-gated acquisition scans (MUGA), echo-cardiograms
and stress tests are performed at Lake Huron Medical Center's Main
Campus (Port Huron) and North Campus (Fort Gratiot). Cardiac catheterizations
are performed at Lake Huron Medical Center.
Cardiac Electrophysiology is the diagnosis and treatment of patients with
electrical or rhythm disorders of the heart. The electrophysiology program
specializes in the management of cardiac arrhythmias and arrhythmia-related problems.
Open Heart Surgery
Lake Huron Medical Center offers access to open heart surgical procedures
including Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery, Minimally Invasive
CABG, and Valve surgery.
Lake Huron Medical Center’s Cardiac Rehabilitation focuses on improving
your quality of life after a heart disease diagnosis or cardiac event.
Through lifestyle changes such as improved physical fitness, nutrition
and education, our compassionate, highly-qualified team of nurses and
exercise physiologists work with patients to design a individually tailored
program to aid in recovery from heart surgery, cardiac procedures or chronic
heart conditions. Planned rehabilitation assists patients after heart
attacks, open heart surgery, coronary angioplasty and valve replacement.
Cardiac Rehabilitation is offered at Lake Huron Medical Center's North
Campus at 4190 24th Avenue, Fort Gratiot.
This cardiac education and support group is available for individuals and
their family members. HeartLink offers continual information, education
and support on cardiac disease. HeartLink meets the second Tuesday of
each month at 6:00 p.m. at Lake Huron Medical Center.

Cardiac Scoring accurately measures the amount of calcified plaque in
the arteries - providing you with the information necessary to develop
a preventative care plan with your physician.
Lake Huron Medical Center offers access to Cardiac Scoring Services through
local radiologists. This fee-for-service program utilizes advanced diagnostic
capabilities to provide a noninvasive method to evaluate the potential
