The Lake Huron Foundation Volunteer Organization is proud to present "The
Evelyn Smallbladder Show" on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
Starring Denise Gutenschwager as Ms. Smallbladder, "The Evelyn Smallbladder"
show approaches life in the later years with humor, advice and sometimes
a little cynicism. She can poke fun at the trials and tribulations of
being a senior lady in a way that makes us realize we are all experiencing
some of the same awkward things we don't always talk about. She laughs
at herself, her friends and life in general, as a way to stay healthy,
happy and productive in the "golden years". The comedy is frank,
and funny, and is fun for the family.
Tickets for this event will be sold at the Lake Huron Medical Center Gift
Shop and Mosher Jewelers for $20 in advance. Tickets will also be sold
at the door on the night of the event for $25, if available. Proceeds
for this event will go to local women in need of assistance with health
related issues and the Lake Huron Foundation Volunteer Organization.
There will be complimentary drinks and snacks served at this event and
for added fun, those attending can vote for their favorite beverage. The
comedy show will be held in the Lake Huron Medical Center Cafeteria –
Lighthouse Café at 7 p.m. Doors for the event will open at 6 p.m.
