Vineyards of the World was created to raise funds for the People’s
Clinic for Better Health. The People’s Clinic has been providing
care for the uninsured in our community for more than 25 years. Proceeds
from this event will support medical care for the uninsured and underserved
through the People’s Clinic for Better Health. Community support
of the Lake Huron Foundation and the People’s Clinic has contributed
to our success in reaching the most vulnerable members of our area.
“The care provided to those most in need in our community is unmatched
without the People’s Clinic. Funding this vitally important piece
of health care in our community is a priority for the Lake Huron Foundation,”
comments Laura Cottengim, Director of the Lake Huron Foundation.
“We could not begin to fund the People’s Clinic at the level
we do without the continued and remarkable support from the community
and events like Vineyards of the World.”
