The first of its kind in our community, Power Lunch with Attorney General
Bill Schuette is brought to the community by the Blue Water Area Chamber
of Commerce and proudly hosted by Lake Huron Medical Center. The event
is on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 and will be held on the main campus of
Lake Huron Medical Center.
"As an advocate for a healthy community, Lake Huron Medical Center
feels it's important to be involved and informed on the issues we
face both locally and at the state level," stated Rebekah Smith,
Chief Executive Officer, Lake Huron Medical Center. "We look forward
to having Attorney General Bill Schuette and area businesses leaders join
us for this incredible opportunity to have our voices heard."
"Having the Attorney General visit our community is an invaluable
opportunity for local businesses," commented Thelma Castillo, President
of the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce. "While here, he will
be discussing topics which affect the state and local levels, such as
the Flint water crisis, human trafficking, the Blue Water Bridges and
the casino project. There will also be time built in for our business
community to ask questions."
The event begins at 11:45am and be held in the first floor auditorium at
Lake Huron Medical Center. Cost is $20 and includes lunch. Registration
