Lake Huron Medical Center Celebrates August Employee and Volunteer of the Month

08-03-2017

Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC) celebrated its employees and volunteers during a recognition event where the Employee and Volunteer of the Month of August were announced.

The August 2017 Employee of the Month is Robert Gray. Robert works as a Plant Engineer II/Plant Maintenance and has been employed with LHMC since November 1996. Robert was nominated by staff members for his helpfulness and can-do attitude while creating the LHMC float for the Rotary Parade. A staff member was quoted saying “he jumped into help, listened to our ideas and made them a reality.”

The August 2017 Volunteer of the Month is Dennis Bilinia. Dennis is a Patient Ambassador and has been donating his time since 2012. Dennis was nominated by a fellow volunteer saying that he takes his job very seriously. Dennis visits each patient on the floor, asking if there is anything he can do to improve their stay, and a volunteer made the comment that “it’s often the little things”- and that’s what Dennis thrives at doing.

Lake Huron Medical Center extends a special thank you to Robert Gray and Dennis Bilinia for making the Lake Huron Medical Center difference. If you would like to nominate a physician, employee, or volunteer at Lake Huron Medical Center, nomination forms can be found conveniently located throughout the hospital.
